After dealing with hair loss caused by excessive hair dyeing for her various movie roles, the actress revealed she’d turned to wigs to help her hair recover. In an interview with InStyle Knightley stated, that this move was “the greatest thing that's ever happened to my hair” and we’re not surprised she feels this way! Wigs are amazing for giving your natural hair time to recover after damage without having to stop experimenting with different styles.
Ariana Grande

This diva is known as much for her signature half-up half down hairstyle as she is her incredible voice and music. But where did the style originate from? In a 2014 Facebook Post, the star revealed, "I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat... as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.”
While she may not always wear full wigs nowadays, the 7 rings singer loves adding extra volume and length with the help of wig pieces as well as extensions. And when we say extra, we mean extra. Check out the photo below from her hairstylist Josh Liu. Now that’s a style we wouldn’t be saying thank u, next to!

When it comes to celebrity wigs, SZA is known for being a hair chameleon. From sporting box braids one day, to rocking some voluminous fiery curls, she’s one of our favourites when it comes to style inspo. Her constantly changing her is in part down to wigs which she always slays no matter what but one her most iconic transformations was when she hit us with that lime green style last year and really put #SlimeSZN on the map!

Another name on our list of celebrities you didn’t know wore wigs is Katy Perry. Although Katy Perry and the words 'pixie cut’ have recently become synonymous with one another, the iconic pop princess loves to switch up her style with the help of wigs. From brightly coloured options on American Idol to more natural choices, Katy’s wigs always leave us amazed! While it seems the world loves her longer style–as evidenced by an image of her wearing a blonde wig tousled with some serious beach-babe waves becoming her most liked Instagram picture–it seems Katy herself seems in no hurry to ditch the pixie cut. We don’t blame her, though! She’s got the best of both worlds by switching up her style with different wigs.
